    Smartphones:
    Charges all USB Devices including all Apple, Android and Blackberry smartphones.

    Tablets:
    Charges all tablets that are powered by USB including Apple iPads and Samsung Tablets. Will not charge tablets that charge at 12 or 16 Volts.

    Digital Cameras:
    Charges both DSLRs and cameras that charge from USB. For DSLRs, optional camera charger cradle that matches your camera battery (see below) is required. Read our tutorial on solar camera charging.

      I've been using an older model for 3 years now while extensively bicycle touring around the USA - especially useful when in the middle of nowhere in a desert. It's durable and moderately water-resistant. I'm using a V1000 battery that came with it, and recently purchased a V44 - the inputs are different - but Voltaic Systems sent me an adapter to use with the panel after an email. So kudos to a supportive company! Overall my kit w/ the two batteries weighs in a little over 1lb. I buckle it to the back of my rear rack pack and aim it into the sun. Very reliable system.

      I forgot to bring my new charger on a 50-mile bike trip a couple months ago, and checking the route on my phone used up my smartphone battery, BUT! I had the friend whom I was meeting at my destination grab my V44 battery that I'd ordered along with my Fuse 6W solar charger. When we met, my phone was dead. I plugged it into the battery--which had been, thoughtfully, fully charged by Voltaic before mailing it to me--and shortly, my phone was up and running again. Simple, efficient, and freeing. Excellent product, excellent customer service.

      I have subjected this panel to the extremes! From the Sierra Nevadas in Southern California to the Jungle Lowlands in Satipo, Peru, to the Glacial Highlands in Huatapayllana, Peru - this panel is tough! 5 Years and the panel and battery are great! I recommend this panel over and over again! I wish I had a reason to get another one!

      Love this product. I use this one and the ARC 20 Kit the most. I love this one because its easy to mount anywhere for any adventure. I can put my stuff inside of it as well while its charging. I love it.
