Located in historic Fort Tilden National Park, Camp Rockaway is a 6-week popup campsite created by local architect Kent Johnson. Designed as a way to promote the outdoors as well as the history of Fort Tilden and the Rockaways, Camp Rockaway invites New York City residents to explore the nature right in their backyard. The campsite is located just off the beach and features campsites for everyone, from BYO-Tent sites to beautifully furnished Wall Tents complete with Casper mattresses.

To help keep guests connected and lights running during their camping trip,  our team headed out to the Rockaways to install solar chargers and solar lights.

Our Shine Solar Light, which was designed after we visited the Rockaways just five years ago during Hurricane Sandy, can now be seen hanging from Camp Rockaway’s Wall Tents providing both light and power to guests.

BYO-Tenters and more can also get access to our Arc 10W Solar Chargers to keep their devices charged while taking a break from the city.
