We’re sending a Fuse 10W Solar Laptop Charger and Canon LP-E6 camera charger to French Polynesia. Our winner, Daniel Fox, a well-versed photographer will be working with Living Oceans Foundation. The Foundation is embarking on one of the most extensive assessments of the living coral reef system, with research sites on Society Islands, Tuamotu, Gambier and Austral Islands. These missions will offer a unique opportunity to compare and contrast reef systems over a large geographical area with respect to human impact.
As a photographer Daniel frames much of his work through education, conservation, and science. After French Polynesia he will hopefully will be heading out to the Channel Islands (off California) to do some research work with NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). Here’s to keeping that camera charged up amongst all that water!
