This June, Stephanie Hill is heading to a small village in Uganda with 16 teenage girls. Once they reach Kitoola, they are going to help build a school and provide additional manual labor of whatever is needed in the village. The volunteer program is done through the Ugandan NGO, Youth Focus Africa Foundation (YOFAFO). The organization is in place to empower Uganda’s next generation, to empower women, create sustainable agriculture, and create access to public health care.

We’re hooking Stephanie up with a Fuse 10W Solar Laptop Charger so that she can keep her phone, camera and iPod charged, but there is a catch. We’re training her on how to take it apart and convert it into three solar lighting systems. The lights will be placed in the orphanage and provide some much needed lighting at night.
