Dutch Explorer Arita Baaijens recently completed a 1500 km journey on horseback around the Altai Mountain Range in the heart of Central Asia. This was the first known circumnavigation of the range. The journey took her through Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia. She brought along our Fuse 10W Solar Laptop Charger.
According to Arita, the purpose of the expeditions was to “engage with this unique land and its people, for whom the Altai is a living and sacred being. The journey is the first stage in a longer project, which aims to develop ties between the four Altai regions in order to protect this important biodiversity hotspot and sacred land.”
