Runs: Garmin 276c (note, this GPS unit can’t be recharged via its car charger, but it can run off power from either the panels or the bag’s internal battery).

Mike told us, “Worked like a charm…I only used it after the internal battery lost power and/or I couldn’t recharge it; however, this ended up being about 6-7 times over the course of 21 days.”

U.S. Marines used this CommsPack to create a data and radio communications network with equipment carried in and powered by the backpack during an emergency management exercise. The pack included a satellite terminal for Internet access and inter-agency radio bridging in remote areas.
