This program is completed! A big thanks to everyone who participated.

Voltaic is committed to powering the places that need it most. High on that list today is West Africa, where satellite phones can mean the difference between epidemic and control in the midst of the Ebola crisis. Buy one of these discounted solar chargers today and and we will give up to three 3.5 Watt Kits to aid workers combating this vicious disease on the ground. We plan to begin shipping these out early next week.

Why: Aid workers are doing their best in locations without consistent access to power. With solar chargers, these workers can reliably charge cell phones and sat phones to stay connected to one another – this means greater safety, better resource allocation, and faster response time.

What: Each donated kit from your purchase to the aid workers includes the following:

  • - 3.5 Watt Waterproof, UV and scratch resistant solar panel
  • - 15 Watt hour (4,000mAh) Lithium Polymer Battery with USB Output
  • - Charging cable to charge battery from solar or and USB charger

3.5 Watt Solar Charger Kit

NetHope is a consortium of the 40+ leading international NGOs that specializes on IT infrastructure and collaboration among aid organizations. Planson International is a woman-owned global supplier of Information and Communication Technology for international organizations.

Solar chargers will be distributed based on highest need to these 21 Members of NetHope: IFRC, International Medical Corps, Plan International, International Rescue Committee, Catholic Relief Services, Child Fund, Global Communities, Samaritan's Purse, SOS Children's Villages, Oxfam, ActionAid, Christian Aid, Save the Children, Concern Worldwide, World Vision, CARE, AmeriCares, Direct Relief, FHI360, PATH and Mercy Corps.

Other Ways to Help: You can make a direct donation to NetHope or one of the consortium members. The need is great. Please help.
