A climate scientist has taken our Generator and Backpack (now the OffGrid) all around the world to charge just about everything. Past locations include Southern Africa and Nepal with Denali and Kilimanjaro on the list. The bags have been charging: cameras, batteries, headlamps, GPS systems, computers,  iPods.  The Generator is currently with the sherpas on the South side of Everest and is being used to charge a BGAN satellite system.

A number of product suggestions came up that we’re working on but perhaps the best suggestion was that we should open up a store in Nepal. A bit of a commute from New York but sounds like a lot of fun.
